Originating from the Huabal region of Cajamarca, Peru, this coffee is grown at altitudes between 1,700 and 2,000 meters, where the cool mountain air helps ripen the beans, giving them a special complexity. The area is renowned for its diversity of soils and microclimates, which are reflected in the coffee's unique profile.
Coffee beans are grown on small farms, where farmers use coffee varieties such as Caturra, Pache. These varieties are valued for their adaptability to local conditions and for their distinct taste characteristics. The processing process is a washing one, which helps to obtain a clear and vibrant taste.
